· We use 'going to' when we want to talk about a plan for the future.
1. I am going to meet him tomorrow.
2. They are going to launch the project next week.
3. She is going to have lunch first.
4. He is going to see what he can do.
5. I am not going to talk for very long.
· Notice that this plan does not have to be for the near future.
1. When I retire I am going to live in Chanasma.
2. In ten years time, I'm going to be the principal of my high school.
